Edd K. Roberts III – Lawyer

Edd is a native to Raleigh and attended Raleigh public schools. In 1995, he graduated cum laude from North Carolina State University with degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, and a minor in English.  He earned his law degree from North Carolina Central University, where he was a finalist in oral arguments competition.  While in law school, under a special practice provision of law, Edd worked two semesters during his third year of law school in the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained trial experience before taking and passing the North Carolina bar exam.

His first job out of law school was at Holt York McDarris LLP, where Edd worked on criminal law and business defense cases.  After a year with Holt York McDarris LLP, Edd took a job with the Wake County District Attorney’s Office and worked as a state prosecutor, handling both misdemeanor and felony cases.  After two years of working as a state prosecutor handling prosecutions in both District and Superior Court, Edd left the DA’s Office and started Roberts Law Office in Raleigh in 2003.  Edd devotes majority of his practice to defending and helping people who find themselves under government investigation or prosecution.  He has been certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a specialist in state criminal law and recognized by his peers for his outstanding efforts in criminal defense of others.

Nicola Willis – Legal Assistant

Nikki is a native to Raleigh and attended Raleigh public schools. In 1993, she graduated from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Public Administration.  Nikki worked with the City of Raleigh and Wachovia Bank before coming to work at Roberts Law Office. She is a certified Public Notary and serves as a volunteer with the Raleigh Rescue Mission.

When Nikki is not working, she likes to walk, read and spend time with family and friends.
